Global Hope for Children & Hope Foundation changing children's life in Cambodia.

The Story Begins

Hey there, let me take you on a journey – a journey that’s all about heart and hope. Back in 2018, Luciano and Andressa packed their bags and set off to Cambodia after spending 13 years in Nepal. Why? To help a remarkable woman who was taking care of a handful of kids in Cambodia. This lady needed a break, and she couldn’t leave those kids alone. So, Luciano and Andressa stepped in, thinking they were just offering temporary help. Little did they know, destiny had grander plans in store.

As 2018 rolled into 2019, Luciano and Andressa decided to stay. They founded what we now know as the Hope Foundation. They started with just 6-8 kids, but the need just kept growing. Then 2019 hit, and the pandemic added another layer of challenge. They wanted to keep helping the growing number of children, but financial support was a struggle. And that’s when fate brought Luciano and Fernando together.

Growing Together

From 2018 on, the number of kids in need just kept growing. From a small group, the Hope Foundation expanded to nearly 20 kids by mid-2019. They had to find a bigger place, get more food, hire a cook, and take care of transportation, clothing, and a hundred other things for all these children. And then, God introduced Fernando to Luciano. Not only did Fernando start contributing financially, but he also became our megaphone, sharing the Hope Foundation’s story with everyone he knew in the US. It’s like a beautiful symphony – the more kids the Hope Foundation helped; the more Jesus responded with financial support.

What's Next

Fast forward to 2023, and the Hope Foundation now looks after 43 incredible kids. And you know what’s incredible? More and more kids keep coming, seeking help. With each new child, the need for support grows, and that’s why we birthed Global Hope for Children in the USA.

Our Mission

Global Hope for Children now stands as an official 501(c)(3) Non-Profit. Our mission is simple but brimming with passion: we want to shout from the rooftops about the extraordinary work of the Hope Foundation. We want hearts to swell with the desire to join us – whether it’s by giving financially, praying, visiting in person, or simply sharing the powerful stories of transformation that unfold here every day by the grace of Christ.

Your support means the world to us as we continue to change the lives of these beautiful children in Cambodia. Together, we’re not just making a difference; we’re igniting a flame of hope that will burn brightly for generations to come!

Cambodian Family

This is the picture of the current Cambodia Family. This photo was taken in 2023 and shows all the sons and daughters of Luciano and Andressa. God has continued to send little kids in risky situations to Hope Foundation and the family continues to grow.

Global Hope for Children is 100% licensed and accredited in the US.

Global Hope for Children is a qualified exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

We are also truly thankful to the Government of Cambodia for allowing Hope Foundation to help Cambodia’s children.
