Hailing from the borders of Thailand, she was a child who endured both emotional and physical abuse, a heartbreaking result of her father’s actions. When Sopia first arrived at the Hope Foundation, her face bore no smile, and she was painfully shy. But her story took a remarkable turn, one that reflects the transformative power of love and compassion.

Just recently, Andressa was playing with Sopia and discovered a hidden talent – her remarkable flexibility. It was a moment of surprise for both of them, as there had been no formal training or attempts to showcase this gift. Touched by Sopia’s unique potential, Luciano and Andressa, with unwavering determination, decided to seek out a ballet school for her.

In their quest to nurture Sopia’s newfound talent, they scoured the city for ballet classes. Despite limited options, they were undeterred, and Sopia was enrolled in ballet classes without hesitation.

What makes this story even more special is that Sophia isn’t alone in her journey. As the Hope Foundation team delved deeper into the lives of the girls we serve, they discovered another young talent for dancing. Now, both Sopia and her fellow dancer are pursuing their dreams and embracing the joy of dance, thanks to the opportunities made possible by God through the work of Hope Foundation.
