In early July, a US team, in collaboration with River City Church and other supporters, embarked on a heartfelt mission to Cambodia to strengthen bonds and share love with Luciano and Andressa’s family. Last year’s visit was a pivotal experience, with 8 team members dedicating two weeks to preparing activities and bonding with the children. This year, the prayers for growth were answered as the group doubled in size, with 16 individuals sacrificing their time and routines to care for the children of Hope Foundation.

Preparations for this year’s visit were extensive. River City Church hosted Scuba VBS, their summer Bible school for kids, which served as a meaningful precursor to the journey ahead. During this event, a touching moment unfolded as RCC kids wrote heartfelt cards, prayed fervently, and gathered school supplies to be sent to their friends in Cambodia.

The impact of this collaborative effort resonated deeply as it not only enriched the lives of the children in Seam Reap but also fostered a spirit of unity and compassion across continents. The dedication shown by River City Church and all supporters exemplifies the power of love in action and reinforces our commitment to nurturing and supporting the Hope Foundation family.
